A gentle walk that takes you from the main Oparara Valley car park to the picturesque Moira Gate Arch, located in Kahurangi National Park.

Situated in the heart of Karamea, we are the first service off the Heaphy Track. Surrounded by the Kahurangi National Park, we offer a world of natural wonderland experiences, or just a holiday "away from it all".

The 85km-long Old Ghost Road traverses majestic native forest, open tussock tops, river flats and forgotten valleys, providing days of adventure and spectacular huts for mountain bikers and trampers.

Located on the Kohaihai River mouth near Karamea and the Oparara Basion. There are short, day or overnight walks from here.
