The Hokitika Museum is a regional museum located in the heart of Westland and housed in the historic Carnegie Building. The Museum is currently closed for seismic strengthening.
The Carnegie Building is currently undergoing earthquake strengthening work and is closed to the public with the collection in storage. The research centre is still available. Please contact us to enquire.

The museum has a great collection of treasures and its photograph and archives collections are an important resource for historians and genealogists.
